and scales to a private individual?
No. Unfortunately, due to misuse, we will
not. Balance and scale orders will only be accepted from
schools and industry.

carry a warranty?
Yes, all microscopes carry a five
(5) year manufacturers warranty. This warranty covers OEM
defects, and includes parts, labor, and electronic components.
Do digital microscopes carry a warranty?
Yes, digital microscopes also carry a five
(5) year warranty. The digital camera and software are warranteed
for one (1) year from date of manufacture.
Do your laboratory balances and scales
carry a warranty?
Yes, they generally carry a one (1) year
warranty on electronic components.
What shipping method do you use?
We only use United Parcel Service (UPS)
or Federal Express (FedEx). You will always receive a tracking
number. For Continental U.S. customers, we pay all shipping charges. Microscopes America,
Inc. provides FREE SHIPPING on all orders from the Continental United States. If you are located outside the United States simply call us for shipping related charges on your item.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Microscopes America, Inc., at its discretion, in very rare instances, may use its judgement, and reserves its right, in applying a cancellation fee for the following reason(s): An order is in transit. A change of mind brought about for any reason when the order has already been processed and shipped. An issue with UPS, DHL, or FedEx actually having difficulty reaching the end user to actually deliver the product (these issues are easily addressed). We will make every attempt to avoid charging a cancellation fee. Reserving a product, preparing a product, processing a product, and shipping the product incurs costs. When a product is cancelled we are charged in many different areas. With the discounted prices offered we cannot absorb these shipping and processing costs. The cancellation charge is $80.00. This charge, brought about by a mid-stream cancellation from a customer has been in effect since June of 2004. This charge is viewed on a case-by-case basis and although avoided at all costs, it is reserved as an option for Microscopes America, Inc.
These shipments are handled with great care. These orders are considered special orders and canceling an order that has already been processed or shipped cannot be executed for obvious overseas reasons. If there were charges we incurred in preparing your order we will forward these charges to your account. These cancellation charges are also viewed on a case by case basis.
